Hi! I'm Manny, the creator of Bletchley.

I've always enjoyed cryptography and have fascinated by Alan Turing and Bletchley Park since I was a young child.

You might be asking why I've choosen to look at a historical ciphers, when modern ciphers are far more lucrative and useful. Exploring the race between cryptographers and cryptanalysists is a great way to see the progression in many fields (such as mathemthatics, physics and computer science) at the same time. I've also found older ciphers to be more accessible and a great way to introduce beginners into the area.

If I'm able to reach my goal of £75 per week, I'll be able to reduce my full-time hours and give 1 day per week fully to Bletchley.
