I hope this Liberapay account will allow readers to support my writing, and make sure it stays accessible for as many people as possible. I aim to license as much of my work as possible under a free-culture license such as Creative Commons.

I am the developer of Nantucket E-Books, a site that makes it easy for authors to create and share the best e-books on the planet. I also developed the Shanty markup language used to develop the e-books. Nantucket E-Books is a free (as in freedom) software project, licensed under the GPL3.

My work includes the historical novel November in America, based on the Colorado coal miners strike of 1927.

I am also writing the Harlan Ellison Directory, providing summaries of works by author Harlan Ellison.
